This design stemmed from the need for a coffee table that could display books and décor items but still have a useable surface for eating and entertaining. The resulting table is made from two levels of glass floated within an oak frame, proving that when treated thoughtfully these simple elements can come together into a layered and elegant composition. Handmade in Vancouver out of solid white oak, the understated Blank Coffee Table is designed to be a blank (yet beautiful) slate for your life, where books, objects and all manner of activity may be staged.
This item can be flat packed for shipping and is assembled with only two set screws. Available in natural oak or stained black, with clear or smoked glass.

NUI FLOOR LAMP
Pulling from the familiar archetype of the cone lampshade, but modernizing it with industrial materials and architectural shapes, the Nui Floor Lamp unites art and function while addressing lighting’s most enduring talent: the ability to transform space. By translating outdated beige cloth to stainless steel and further interrupting the shape with a shard of acrylic, this sculptural piece of lighting feels ultra-modern yet remains oddly approachable through its nod to traditional lighting forms. NOOK VASE
Inspired by foggy mornings on the water, the Nook Vase is part of an ongoing exploration of how we can seek to enhance the beauty of flowers through vases that strategically blur, obscure, reveal, transform or otherwise play with composition, form and color. By tucking blooms into the Nook Vase they are enclosed in a frosted veil, creating on one side an almost painterly composition of blurred forms, and on the other a springing forth of color and life. This design takes advantage of a fact well known to artists and architects- that it is the suggestion of what we don’t see that creates tension and beauty in a composition.
